Frequently Asked Questions

I am a Freshman living on campus do I need to purchase a meal plan?

Texas A&M University - Commerce policy is that all Freshman Campus Residents purchase either one of the The Unlimited Plans or the 19 Meal Plan. We have resident dining location that offers continuous service from 7:15a.m. to 7:15 p.m. during the week; we have the Lion's Lair Food Court that has Starbuck's, Lucky's BBQ, Ochorito, and Wingin It.  We also have Sandella's and Starbuck's located in the library.

I am a Sophomore or above living on / off campus do I need to purchase a meal plan?

No, although you will be missing out on huge savings! The Unlimited Plan will give you access to the SRSC Cafe for every meal period or the ability to stop by for just a drink or snack at your convenience. You can come and go as you like, think of it as your kitchen on campus. With NEW continuous dining there will always be something available for you 7:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. or join us for late night (Monday - Thursday 8:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m and Friday nights 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.). Please visit the plans page to view choices.

Compare these plans to the average cash price at the door of $7.80 the Café and you save not only money but parking spot, gas and time with your friends.
